I wore this navy blue dress as a guest at a wedding. My date was the father of the groom so the dress had to be a little extra special than the average wedding dress for a guest. This dress is a perfect mix of class and sass. Comfortable yet fancy and stylish. The one sided cold shoulder and subtle wide bow on the other shoulder along with POCKETS really make this dress extra special. Pockets are good for tissues and dollar bills for the dollar dance. Size down if you are not top heavy. This dress should be fitted for waist and breast. It is very flattering and hides the tum, hips, butt and thighs. Which is where I'm heaviest at. I sized down to medium (I'm usually a large). I wouldn't size down if you carry a lot of weight in your mid section and are larger than size 38 D. I am 5'2" and have a short torso. Weigh about 165lbs and size 38 D bra size. For the bra... I actually wore a normal bra and just cut one of the straps. You could always tuck the one strap but I didn't mind cutting off one of the straps since I'm sure I will wear this dress again. This dress is suitable for just about any event or even a fancier date night. Definitely a staple peice to have on hand. It will be one of my go to dresses. Classy met sassy and they had a baby. ?Great dress and fit true to size. Very flattering and worked great for my brother’s wedding. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the fact that it came very wrinkly and I spent hours trying to fix it. Steam, iron, spray, drier, etc. It took forever and I never got all of the wrinkles out. Just to a point where they were less noticeable.I bought this based on reviews, and I agree with them: the dress is very flattering for those of us who are top heavy and/or have a belly. It stretches and looks very flattering. I bought the black one (and wore a strapless bra) and it wasn't sheer at all. Can be worn with a small belt as well, but I opted for none. For reference, I'm 5'4" and 180lbs, and I bought a large.I was so nervous ordering a dress!! All the ones at the dress store were so short. Very inappropriate. This was my daughters home coming dress and we loved it. At first she didn’t like the bow, I took it off and she was happy. Thank you! Dress was wrinkle free, stretchy and not too short. Highly recommendFirst off, I'm 5'4" and a curvy 44D and 215lb, so finding dresses that are flattering and not pricy is a challenge. It’s not too large in my breast area I bought a medium. I’m 5 foot six 135 pounds!!! The color is pretty and as pictured!This dress was perfect for my daughter. She decided to go to her school’s homecoming dance at the last minute & we couldn’t find anything at stores. So we took a chance on this dress in blue velvet! It was gorgeous! Looks more expensive than it is. It was a little long for her but we hemmed it. She blinged out her Nike 1’s to wear with it! So so cute! She wears a size 10 & is too heavy. We got a large and it fit her so well.Black/Medium: I bought this dress to wear to a wedding as a backup to another (way more expensive) one that I was trying to lose a few pounds to fit in (comfortably). Even though I lost those few pounds I’m so glad I decided to wear this one instead! The day ended up being very warm (almost 90) and this was very lightweight and had pockets to hold a compact, lipstick and my phone. What else could you ask for?!?!Material (black) is not see through and has a nice stretch to it. I typically wear a large but after reading a few other reviews I got a medium. Fit perfectly.I’m a big believer you get what you pay for and this is worth every bit of 40 bucks and then some.Gorgeous dress. Good quality material. Lovely colour (wine). Fits true to size. It is a bit longer when on than shown in the picture. Thought it would be knee length but was about 2 inches below knee. Love the pockets.
