The color was very pretty, flattering for my skin tone. The fabric was a better quality than I expected. The top of the gowns (I ordered two different sizes.) sagged over the bust. The larger size that I ordered was too big all over. However, the smaller size fit perfectly every where expect over the bust. The length of the dress was even good for me (I am 5' 2".) with heels. The sagging may be due to the large bead trim. The same beading is at the waistline as well. While the beading added a nice sparkle, the arching shape of it tended to make my stomach look larger than it is. The ruching did not help camouflage a slightly rounded stomach. I really wanted to like this dress. It was comfortable, soft and flowing.I bought this dress for a formal military ball. It fit perfectly. The sash is so cute to wrap and throw on an arm or keep it down for an extra layer. The navy was a little lighter than pictured but still beautiful. My only complaint would be with the jewels. Up close they look very plastic but from a distance and dimmer light definitely worth the price.I had to take out the padding the no shoulder side was loose but it was a really good fitI fell in love with this dress the moment it arrived. I'm 5"2, 251lbs, thick, curvy and busty....BUT baby this dress hugged and when I put the heels on it didn't drag the floor at all. The only thing I did do was tack the split up a little 'cause these thighs were peaking out a little too much. I did want to remove the pads in the breast area but i decided not too. I had so many compliments and I felt amazing in it!I have a formal event in a few months and I wanted to prepare early. This dress is lovely. The quality is nice and the fit is perfect. Both my husband and my son complimented me. And I didn't even have the rest of me together (hair, makeup, shoes, accessories...). I will have to wear a low heel with it or it will be too short. I’m 5’8”, 190lb. I generally wear a 12/14. The actual fit of the body of this dress is perfect. The thigh slit is just right on me, not too high. The ruching gives the appearance of a better waistline. The dress is well made, the only downside is the built-in bra pads hit at very odd locations, one is too high, one is under the arm of the dress. This can easily be altered. A previous review commented on the overlay on the dress, it can be snagged, but it’s not as fragile as the review made it out to be. Overall, this is a well made dress for the price!It looked better in the pictures then when I saw it . Every little crack on my body shows Thu.I had to take the time to leave a review here because this whole process was beyond my expectations. The delivery was fast (ordered 4pm, arrived 1pm the next day), and although I expected a greener tone, it was still definitely true to the picture. I loved the sash and the elegance of it all. I decided to return because I felt it was not the most fitting on me, and once returned, the money was refunded back in my bank just 7 hours after to my surprise. Speedy process that is honestly amazing and perfect for my dress-hunt rush for a ball soon.
